Besakih Temple Tour
Besakih Temple is the bigest temple in Bali known as Mother temple or
in Balinese known as Pura Besakih, the temple probably dates to the
fourteenth century. It was built on the south slopes of Mount Agung,
the principal volcano of Bali. The temple is actually a complex made up
of twenty-two temples that sit on parallel ridges. It has stepped
terraces and flights of stairs which ascend to a number of courtyards
and brick gateways that lead up to the main spire Meru structure, which
is called Pura Penataran Agung. Besakih Temple Tour is a tour

Besakih Mother Temple
The Mother Temple of Besakih, or Pura Besakih, in the village of
Besakih on the slopes of Mount Agung in eastern Bali, is the most
important, the largest and holiest temple of Agama Hindu Dharma in Bali
and one of a series of Balinese temples. The temple probably
dates to the fourteenth century. It was built on the south slopes of
Mount Agung, the principal volcano of Bali. The temple is actually a

Bukit Jambul Rice Terrace
Bukit Jambul is a beautiful rice terrace located in Pesaban village,
Karangasem regency. here the traveler can enjoy the beautiful panorama
of rice terrace from the highest place near the main road. Bukit Jambul
word is derived from Bukit mean hill and Jambul mean crest so Bukit
Jambul is crest of a hill. It is strategically located beside of the
main road from Denpasar to Besakih Temple and it is one of the tourist

Goa Lawah Temple
Pura Goa Lawah, the Bat Cave Temple, is located along the coast of
southeastern Bali just west of Candidasa. The center of the temple is
built around a cave filled with thousands of bats. In front of the cave
have small shrines of a Shivaite temple guarding the cave's entrance.
This site has been worshipped since around 1000 AD, and was founded by
an itinerant holy man, named Resi Markandya (a holy priest from Java).

Kusamba Beach is a beautiful beach located 7km to the east from Semara
Pura. Kusamba Beach is famous for it beautiful black sand beach and
salt production made by local fisherman. The salt is made by
traditional production without using any chemicals that make the salt
have a natural sea salty. |
